Acrisure Stadium Event Volunteer Information

Whether you are a rookie or a seasoned veteran, welcome to volunteering at Acrisure Stadium (formerly Heinz Field)!!

Volunteering is a great way to earn funds for your child’s band account to help pay for trips, annual assessment fees, and more.  Aramark will offer up to $200 per event for each eligible volunteer.  

• Minimum guarunteed payout 

  • Steeler games/Concerts/Large events: $165

  • Pitt games: $130 

NOTE: The final payout amount is determined by Aramark and may range from the minimum up to $200. This amount is NOT set by the Band Patrons.

In order to be eligible to volunteer, all volunteers MUST complet the following as soon as possible:

1. ServSafe Training

2. RAMP Training

3. NFL Credentials for the 2026 Season

NOTE: NFL Credentials are required before working any Steeler games.  Once your email has been submitted to Aramark by me, they will email you a link for the NFL credential that you must complete.

Anyone without complete NFL credential will not be permitted into the building for Steeler games - no exceptions.

NFL credentials are NOT required for Pitt games, concerts or other events.

Additional Volunteer Requirements:

• Volunteers must be 18 or older

• Each family may send up to 3 family members per game/group event.

• There is no limit to the number of events you can sign up for

• Typically about 15 volunteers work each event.

• If you sign up, you MUST attend.  Anyone cancelling within 48 hours of an event will not be able to eligible to volunteer for future events.  Exceptions include a death in the family, Covid and other reasons approved by the Band Patrons.

Information Needed From Each Volunteer:

• Copy of RAMP Certification

• Name (first and last)

• Shirt size - when in doubt size up - shirts go over your street clothes, especially in colder weather.

• Address

• Date of Birth

• Cell phone number

• Email address

Event Day Dress Code:

• Black pants (jeans and sweatpants are acceptable) 

• Closed-toe shoes (tennis shoes recommended)  

Aramark Will Provide:

• Shirt

• Ball cap

Shirts must be returned in after each event, but volunteers must keep and bring their ball cap for future events. Aramark does offer an option to buy a shirt if you are interested. All shirt orders will be due June 12, 2026 and cost is $27 per shirt.

RAMP:

• Certification must be renewed every 2 years. 

• The course fee is approximately $8.95-$10.

• Anyone over 18 years of age must have a valid RAMP certification to volunteer.

• When prompted for the LID number, enter 48228

• Once completed email a copy of your certification to me at clferrington@gmail.com

Your name will not be added to the volunteer list until I receive your certification.
