You can pick up your fall marching band music in the Chorus room beginning
Wednesday June 9, 2010 from 8:30am to 3:00 pm.
An envelope with your name on it will contain this music.
Upper Classmen will need their marching band folders from the instrument room for pre-game and stand music.
Halftime shows number 2&3 have been written for us and will be handed out at band camp.
You can pick up your music throughout the month of JUNE.
Brass and Woodwind players using school owned instruments can also pick them up.
Tubas will use the older 3/4 Concert tubas at home.
All instruments are labeled and in Chorus room

ONE CALL NOW has been initiated as a message notification system for TJ Band. In order for ONE CALL NOW to send you text messages, you have to opt in. You should have received a phone call with the message below. Please text the word ALERT to 22300 to be able to accept future text messages from Mr. Mirabella and the TJ Band.
Hello. This is a call from TJ Band which uses ONE CALL NOW to send emergency and informational notifications to keep you informed of important events, activities and last minute changes. We currently call you with voice notification messages and would like to be able to send important alerts to your cell phone as text messages as well as voice messages. If you have a text message plan, these messages will be included in that plan: otherwise stand text message charges apply. If you would like to receive text message notifications, text the word ALERT to 22300 or visit us at www.OneCallNow.com/TextAlerts
This system will also be used for voice message notifications and emails. Each student has entered their cell phone number, a parent cell phone number, a home phone number and a parent email address into this system. THIS INFORMATION CAN BE UPDATED ANYTIME by emailing the information to Noreen Gramm at Grammfam@comcast.net. The ONE CALL NOW system has the capability of using 6 phone numbers and 5 email addresses per student for notifications.
We had intended to use the school district's School2Phone system for band messages, but with our access restrictions and finding out that setting the band up as a subgroup of the system was not able to be done easily, the band patrons voted at the October meeting to set up our own system using ONE CALL NOW.

Auditorium, all others are held in the Chorus Room. All meetings begin at 7 PM.

CHAPERONE INFORMATION
· You must have clearances as per new District wide policy (see below).

CLEARANCE POLICY REQUIRED FOR VOLUNTEERS

- Then choose “criminal history request online.
- The Child Abuse Clearance must be done through the mail, after you have received the Criminal Record Clearance.
· If you currently have clearances and wish to know if they are sufficient to volunteer, you must contact the Human Resources Director in the Administration Building. This is a district wide policy, not the TJBP.

· You are to keep the original copies of the clearances. Copies will need to be provided to the WJHSD Administration Building, TJHS Principal's office, & TJBPA. On the copies for the TJBPA, please black out your social security number. Thank you for complying with this new policy.

Any student not returning on the bus after an event MUST have a Bus Transportation Release completed and handed in prior to boarding the bus for the event. Please place the release form in the bus folder or hand the form to your bus chaperone again prior to boarding the bus for the event.
